We are INFIGHT
The lame tale of the four boys leaving home to rule the World is as interesting as watching the late Bob Ross’s lackluster son Steve on daytime TV. Who needs romance nowadays? Reality shows its ugly face beating the crap out of those still waiting for miracles.
Personalized, our band would be a latchkey kid from a suburban family. Left alone by the local music-community, smurked at by some ‘cool kids,’ and far from being fed with the silver spoon. Where to find romance nowadays? In the sad and sexually confused Capitals’, full of wannabe-bohemien? We are disco-punks and could’t give a shit about the bad mood in the music biz.
First, we locked ourselves in the band room – not for too long, but as much time that was necessary for everything to be just fine.
A danceable and driving beat, Atari-like-eighties-synthesizer, screaming postpunk guitars and trashy vocals deluxe. Then we hit the road, played almost 50 gigs in 2010, recorded an EP and even grabbed a record deal. The result of all this is a brand new record called “I heart discopunk” proclaiming the sound of the future and reaching for it. Sounds like a whole lot of work, sounds like something completely new, sounds like DIY and even a bit romantic…
