I checked out more after Tyrants and Ample Destruction, pretty good! I'll have to check out even more.

Ample Destruction is the best Power Metal album period.

@Steambull all of their other albums range from god-awful to mediocre. You're better off sticking with Ample Destruction and devoting the rest of your time to better artists.

ample destruction is thee shit. they need to reunite just to tour in the US. dont even have to put out anything new since that album is perfect.

Amazing band...criminally underrated

@ steambull: Ample Destruction is great, but many other Jag Panzer releases are at least good. They only completely weak album was "Dissident Alliance". Give "Chain Of Command", "The Age Of Mastery" and "Mechanized Warfare" a chance, but keep your hands off "Dissident Alliance"!

Good power metal. If you like early Maiden and/or Manowar, I recommend "Ample Destruction." Musically it's not quite as tight as what the two mentioned bands put out, but the songwriting and vocals are very much in the same vein. The bass sound on this album could've used some tweaking, I don't think it's "involved" enough (this bass sound would be better for thrash). I wonder if the rest of the albums, released 10-20 years later, are any good at all compared to this... Fans?

High Roller Records released a remastered version of Ample Destruction. Finally the album can be bought for a good price.

maybe the best american band ever. very sad to see they folded and i never got to see them live. mark and me used to penpal and talk on the phone in the mid 80's he was really a good guy i wish him and the members best wishes. thanks for the memories.

I was very shocked when I read they disbanded. Jag Panzer is one of my favourite bands. I will nerver forget their great headliner gig at the "keep it true" festival 2008.
