вообще, слушая музыку барокко/рококо в голову приходят весьма интересные мысли - по идее, вся культура рококо изначально атектонична, но вот с музыкой это так не работает, ибо краеугольным камнем здесь являются всякие звукоподражательные безделицы (по типу "курицы" у сабжа), то есть музыка рококо по сути не а-, но псевдотектонична, т.е. ссылается не на саму себя, а на отсутствующий объект, тут впору подумать, что именно в этом корни всей той литературщины и муд мьюзика, которые собственно и привели нас к существованию современной поп-сцены и того, что основной концепцией популярной музыки является как раз таки псевдотектоника, короче неплохая иллюстрации к мысли о том, что пизда человечеству потихоньку начала приходить уже в восемнадцатом веке.

I'd choose Rameau over Lully anyday.

You need to listen to his motets. The recording of "In convertendo", "Quam dilecta" and "Deus noster refugium" performed by "Les Arts Florissants" under the direction of William Christie is just splendid.
