TinyShrine, he did the same thing in DC. I got all teary eyed it was so perfect. He said it was the most beautiful version he'd ever heard. We all agreed. He won so many people over that night!

Jens always does the most amazing sampling, and his use of Calvin Johnson here may be my favorite. I saw Jens live in LA, and he ended the night with an encore of this song done entirely acapella, and had the entire audience sing Calvin's part. It was absolutely magical and stunning, the whole crowd could feel it. One of my favorite moments at any show ever.

yeah, the beat happening song is "Gravedigging Blues" from the album Black Candy. It sounds like the snapping comes from that song too.
