Hendrix learned to play by practicing almost constantly, watching others play, getting tips from more experienced players, and listening to records. In the summer of 1959, his father bought Hendrix a white Supro Ozark, his first electric guitar, but there was no available amplifier.

Some people say you can't play jazz without the blues. It seems Jimi could feel that sentiment and add some psychodelic rock just to remind you he's a genius!

Freddie Smith was playing sax. Mike Finnegan on Keys. Buddy Miles on drums. Larry Faucette on congas. There you go!

I do believe Buddy Miles is actually the drummer on this. Don't recall the name of the sax player. I think the guy on key is named Finnegan? Could be wrong about that.
