The original 'Life Of Contradiction' album on Grounation (JA) is a CLASSIC; if you don't have it, Pressure Sounds reissued it-eventually-with a couple of singles, on vinyl (original sleeve replica) and on CD. Being lucky enough to know someone who worked there (and at Trojan, who also put out some excellent reissues, extended...) I was sent two vinyl copies (and so don't have to risk scratching my JA copy) - a new issue, and the white label PLUS the preissue CD. (Thanks, Noel! Hope the Bunny Lee book is doing as well as reviews suggest...) Pressure Sounds material should be tracked down by the serious reggae/Dub enthusiast; excellent quality, superb liner notes...Also, the Blood and Fire label. (And, of course, On U SoundS, whom P.Sounds are a subsidiary of...and have just started up reissuing with some excellent Lee 'Scratch' Perry alternative versions/unreleased material...Check it out!)
