Joey Purp's versatility is not mentioned enough. His experiments with party tracks are genuinely enjoyable ("Girls @," "Elastic," and "Aw Sh*t!" are top notch). He does a Future impersonation on "Karl Malone" and even though it didn't sound like he was trying too hard, it still sounded better than a lot of other rap in that style. Now, I think that Saba puts out the best hip-hop of the new school (the lyricism is just on another level with Saba) - but I don't see Saba being able to do the same kind of tracks that Purp does with ease.
