John Sat-in with The Roots on the 11/12, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,...AND, Elvis Costello was a guest and performer on the same show (Can we say 'Uber-Bonus'?!!) I saw John at Kent State University in Kent, OH in 1973 {or was it '74...kinda' blurry now! LOL} with Mahavishnu Orchestra. They opened for Frank Zappa and The Mothers. It was a freakin' sweltering night in the KS gymnasium and hardly bare-able,...but one of the GREATEST concert performances that I've ever seen. Mahavishnu was touring the release of their infamous album, 'Birds of Fire'. Now that's what I call unforgettable MUSIC!
