CAESARSDREAM
Scofield is really good at improv and "funky" jazz. The Uberjam album is also really interesting and veers away from straight jazz into other areas.

I've never seen a Chicken Dog but if I could imagine such a thing this it what it most certainly would sound like. Half bird and half quadraped, part barking and part clucking, at once like a half witted bird descended from a teradactyl and like man's best fiend descended from a very long line of wild beasts. There you have an amalgamation of all that is basic, intuitive, natural and timeless...jazz!!
