Cemetary_walk: I personally would go with Magazine, it's probably my favorite album of theirs. But I also love Vertigo and Between The Dim...; also, I happened to find The Early Years in my local record shop (along with an autographed Live DVD!) and like it too :)

This time of year always makes me miss seeing Jump. It still feels like something's missing during the holidays and it's been 4 years since their last Dock Street (it became a holiday tradition to go to Charleston with my sister). I wish they would do a reunion show next year after the Dock Street Theater reopens. :)

Cemetary_walk - I started with Between the Dim and the Dark, and have loved them since, but Vertigo is probably my favorite. You can't really go wrong.

1st off: I think Jessmo-berry achieved what she set out to do with that one. 2nd off, I got these guys as a recommendation. Whats album is a good (bad pun alert) Jumping off point for these guys?

They were very popular in the Southeast for a while. Saw them at least a dozen times!! Miss them!

There was supposed to be a line break in there somewhere. Also, I've listened to their entire discography and I can't see why Cathedrals is so popular.

Requiem--under appreciated feminazi: I think I actually discovered Jump from Zach Braff's blog.

watsonic. I remember. I got introduced to jump cramped into the backseat of a friend's VW bug trying to make out the lyrics to LTD from her scratchy tape player. I got hooked and showed up to my first Jump concert (Ziggy's in the old W-S!) the next week and showed up way early.

When they did Mother's Eyes at the CSO concert I thought I was going to pass out under the weight of beauty.
