I’m a big 143 critic and agree that her artistry wasn’t shown in the album but i still believe this one is one of the good bits of the album :)

she needs to be strategic and distance her image from this last album as quickly as possible – after all, she is Katy Perry. any well-executed and moderately successful project (and that’s the challenge to be honest) will make people forget 143. this would be a victory for the legacy that even she doesn’t seem to value

If she pushed this deluxe is because she doesn’t feel a need to distance herself from this massive flop era. Hopefully the Lifetimes tour is great reviewed and does an impact on how the public perceives her, rather than a throwback act. If it doesn’t, I doubt she’ll ever have a hit single or album again

a new album in the middle of the tour could be interesting for her but we know that she doesn't usually release albums often. she has a master's degree in bad choices
