It seems to me they have just banned all songs called 'unknown' from scrobbling, because 'unknown' songs by other bands also cannot scrobble. A stupid feature though, because it prevents any REAL songs called Unknown from ever being scrobbled. (Not sure how this song got 99.6k scrobbles and 29.6k listeners though? Maybe they are from many years ago and this "feature" was only added recently?)

"I am falling into grace to THE UNKNOWN to where you are and faith makes everybody scared" Metallica's got a song called "The Unforgiven" & putting "The" in front of the title (when that's literally the lyric every time the word/phrase is sung in the song...) Just saying it's a solid solution

Is English your first language? It was just an example of another song using "The" before a word like Unknown or Unforgiven.... I think calling the Lifehouse song "The Unknown" (which he says every time in the chorus) is a better alternative than putting "Unknown."

I agree, except now on the rare occasions when I refer to the song in conversation I have to stop myself and make sure I don't say "the" before its title because I'm so used to manually scrobbling it that way (since I refuse to change the tag on my computer: that's one compromise with Last.fm's tomfoolery I will not make).

http://www.last.fm/music/Crossfade/_/The+Unknown The band Crossfade also has a very great song called THE UNKNOWN so to tell me proposing it as an alternative title to "Unknown" (which won't scrobble or to put a period at the end of a song title?) OK....

My solution is scrobbling it "The Unknown" obviously isn't the proper title but he does say it in the song... so just add The to the beginning of the title for a temporary fix

this is indeed annoying that this song does not scrobble. any way to fix it (without compromising the title in anyway)?
