their music makes my head hurt in like the best way possible . also the cover art for hypermagic mountain is absolutely incredible i literally can't stop staring at it

It's insane how much mileage these guys can squeeze out of the simple premise "drummer and bassist play really, REALLY loud." They're honestly a perfect example of how limitations in art can foster creativity.

My chosen trio of tracks to acquaint the unfamiliar: Assassins, Rain on Lake I'm Swimming In, Big Banger.

Much respect to B. Chippendale for “masking up” way before it was fashionably necessary/necessarily fashionable.

Despite its heaviness, LB is so bursting with light and colour, often sounds like vintage video game music, like some crazy magical adventure. It's so much fun to listen to. "2 Towers" is like what heaven sounds like to me, I just want to crawl up inside it and live there forever.
