Here we are sixty years later and still I'm blown away by that mean mean sound of this record. The ultrasharp guitar, the fast rhythm, the passionate screaming. No one can do it like Little Richard.

Remember being about 9 years old, bought this record at the Grant's Department store. Took it home and played it and my Christian Mother , who had a painting of Jesus and a Crucifixion Cross in every room plus a least three Mother Mary statues, freaked out smashing the record to pieces screaming "You will never play that queer little ni**ers music in my house again". Did not have clue what she was talking about!!!
