i think this is fine, but i think it's her least consistent album. and i think many of the songs sound like they should have been longer. also, she has always played with structure - she hardly ever uses traditional song structure, but this time around, i think she took it too far on some songs. overall, it's a good listen, but definitely one of the weaker and less distinct albums in her catalog.

I am still enjoying the new album and with each spin I find a new detail that I like about the album, but the problem with it was the opening that left me down - she has great opening tracks; "Wild Creatures" sounded like I am being thrown into some party and I have no idea what to do. Maybe the order of tracks is odd... I will find out in time.
