Wow. It's sad that one of his final songs shows such a beautiful progression with his sound. As someone before me said, his fourth album would have been amazing.

When you offer the world your very best and it just sniffs back in disdain, all but the strongest souls wither in the face of such contempt. Ironically,though, it is often the delicate, fragile souls that are capable of such beauty. And in the face of the brutality of human beings, what can we expect? heartbreaking - as is the whole of pink moon. he was intensely shy and one description of a performance has him sat on the stage with his head down playing and no-one really listening....he was prescribed anti-depressants which in the 60's were pretty blunt tools and caused a hell of a lot of side effects. we'll never know if he meant to commit suicide or accidentally overdosed. i wish we could tell him what a stunning singer songwriter he was...
