After producing a track like The Tide, I have no idea how a music collective holds the confidence to top something like that. Whilst I still don't think they've topped that track, they sure as hell produced some fine tunes after, all amazing in their own right. Borderline mainstream DnB as they might be, Noisia is still unbeatable. What an experience man.

imo Outer Edges just ended the game. It was perfect from start to finish. No DnB/techstep/Neurofunk/halftime album will ever get close to that.

The stuff which NOISIA produce is rlly amazing. From first to last album a lot was changed in style but still on the same basics and power. All time in condition.

Discovered them when I heard Machine Gun (original, not the remix) in Wipeout HD, and haven't got bored of them since.

Most of their own modern stuff is total blunder. The only really good thing about modern Noisia is their sublabel Invisible. It's full of nice stuff.

Their newer stuff is pretty boring. Its not as bad as what Telemetrik and Phace have been doing recently but still Split the Atom had a ton of generic tracks with very few tolerable moments. Outer Edges is better for adding on a bit more atmosphere back and some sci-fi themes but the production is way too thin to make any of the sounds have any texture or weight and there tons of cheesy melodies and lead sounds everywhere. Ill admit that theres a few tracks here and there that arent as bad but most of them arent even that memorable like their earlier stuff. Never knew that they had a sublabel but ill have to check it out.
