NOMO just got off stage at TOP about 15 minutes ago (June 25). Outstanding show as usual. Jamie Register was sporting a mohawk and she KILLED on bass. I know I am selfish, but I'd love to hear some new tunes--still the old ones were just fine. They did a lot of Ghost Rock & Invisible Cities material and the first encore was Sun Ra's #9.

I completely agree. Nomo are incredible live, not sure what Blvd is on about...

One of the best live bands around----pay no attention to Blvd_Nights. Super-tight, polyrhythmic & energetic afro-beat. Throw in a crucial Moondog adaptation....one of the best 5 shows I've ever seen.

'Ma', original do Tom Zé, ficou ótimo na versão do NOMO! Muito bom! E essa kalimba aí é bem peculiar mesmo.. 'Ma', original released by Tom Zé, looks great when performed by NOMO! This amplified Kalimba gives a futuristic mood in the so deep funky wave presented by them. Really nice.

They played an awesome show at LOLA last night. Great dancing was had and jumping into the crowd and doing a mini acoustic jam at the end of the show was awesome.

Invisible Cities just crashed into my best-of-the-year-list and turned the whole fucking thing around. Bliss, yeah – that’s what this is.
