I should listen to them a lot again. The thing is that I've broadened my horizons with music in recent years and I have been listening to new artists every chance I can get. So I've had no time to listen to Obituary a lot. Who knows, one day I'll get bored of checking out new artists and get back to Obituary.

Not sure if this is a very popular opinion, but I think they got better as they went on. They're first two albums are pretty good. The later stuff though, is amazing.

World Demise is such an awesome album. It's rarely talked about. Don't Care, the title track, Redefine and Killing Victims Found are excellent tracks.

Some time ago, I don't remember where, I saw a comment of somebody complaining about these people cancelling other bands for this or that reason, saying that one of the most beloved old school bands were pretty n-wordy and no one have dared to cancel them (my wording here), not giving out which band. Now with your comment... holy crap, Lois, they weren't bullshitting. I guess redneck do be stomping, huh.

this adolf guy seems to be a troll or a racist or something idk. obituary is a southern band and they were flying the confederate flag even when i saw them open for morbid angel in the mid/late '10s so who knows. their aging racist redneck shit could be coming through these days. love their old shit but they seem to be irrelevant now.

The horrors of THC abuse in paragraph form. "Adolf_Sax" is a joke/reference at the expense of Hitler for his irrational fear of Jazz music and his citing of it as "degenerate music". henceforth...Adolf_Sax. It's also a good way of filtering out the chronically online types that have fried their brains with a Javert black and white viewpoint of the world through one-note Internet politics so badly that anyone who remotely disagrees with them is a Chud or whatever meaningless buzzword.

New album is great. Saw them live the other week and was a brilliant gig, good crowd, band were great, newer songs went down as well as the classics. Death metal isn't my main thing but one of the best live shows I've been too. Listen to their stuff, see them live if you can 10/10

"that wrong time" song is really annoying. all the blood incantation fans (nearly everyone had bought a blood incantation shirt at the show i went to) seemed to love it live .

Yeah, this band is very limited. After Cause of Death, it's getting repetitive and boring. You can see this band cannot evolve at all. Frozen in Time is prime exemple of this lack of abilities.
