More hard rock than Horses was, but still very much Patti Smith. The album is a bit uneven with songs like "Poppies" and the title track that I don't really care for but the rest is really good though.

Not sure why last.fm won't scrobble this under "Patti Smith Group" when that's what my tags say and Patti Smith Group is in some ways distinct from just Patti, but anyway, this is a really good album. In fact I think I prefer it to Horses.
