Pure emotion [3] This is seriously one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. I'm glad it finally got a home on the re-release of The Final Cut c=

The song that sets up the concept of The Wall and it was left off the album... Still, this is my favourite floyd track

The Wall en un principio iban a ser 3cds, pero finalmente se recortó a 2cds. una de las canciones que se cortaron fue ésta, que se usó en la película. me pregunto si será posible encontrar esa versión extendida de The Wall.

Great in that it provides a strong reminder of the terrible impact of war both on people who fought in it - or were victims of it - and on their families. However, it's effectively Roger solo - part of the self-obsession that contributed to the eventual disintegration of the Floyd as a four-piece unit during the albums after 'Wish You Were Here'.

I do regret Waters but this is a song he wrote only to telll the world that he never took his father's death. It has nothing to do with Pink Floyd, it's only Waters' exhibition as well as most of The Wall is. And another thing is I dont like about he song is that he want us to think of him as the Pink Floyd from the movie and therefore he himself is Pink Floyd as the band. Pity him.
