I love the band. So sad they are not well known... Even some of their lyrics, like Brainwaves, are impossible to find trough google. Talk about the world being askew.

http://www.stonesthrow.com/store/12-inch/pure-essence/wake-up-pts-1-2 this might clear up a few things about the "third rock" song, an unknown Cincinnati ensemble made this and only couple other songs calling themselves the pure essence (totally different then the british rock band). third rock should be under something other then puressence, as it relates to funk/soul/ jazz category.
