OK, now I don't hear anyone who sounds like Jackdson Browne on the lead vocal on this version, just good old Sir Raymond....and the choir as well. Hmmmm..........

every time I drive over Waterloo bridge, i think of this song...& the best view of London, either side of the Thames too !!

This is excellent. Maybe it doesn't "sound" so different to the original but it "feels " it. Ray Davies - the clever old bugger - has captured the emotion of the song through the use of the beauty of the choir's voices.
