The next album was announced today: Yanni Live at the Acropolis. I definitely didn't see that coming. It should be interesting.

It is so rad that they choose to do Kick. Totally an album I considered a guilty pleasure.

I'm very impressed with Kick. I think it's the best Record Club installment yet. I could listen to "Never Tear Us Apart" and "Mystify" all day.

it sounds exactly how you'd expect it to: a few songs that are legit covers and a whole lot of fucking around in the studio trying to get an album done in a day. it's not very creative or even good but i give Beck a lot of credit for putting this out there, being brave enough not to give a shit. i am looking forward to hearing more of this project.
