this song mainly the version on rollercoaster is such a fever dream, like it feels like i’m driving through my hometown after years comparing to how it once was, and yet nothing’s changed except me.

there's a sweetness to this song that stands out on Rollercoaster. sunny, beautiful guitars set to biting, sarcastic lyrics. perfect

Hated the Rollercoaster version at first, but I was surprised when I heard the Bridge version because I liked it a lot. Then listened to the Rollercoaster version again and came to appreciate the good things that both offer. :D

Rollercoaster version is superior, but that doesn't make Bridge bad. Just a fuzzier version, which is cool in its own way. Shows that the more stripped down RHP songs hold up with the fuzz [2]

Fall in New Jersey is one of the most bittersweet, melancholic atmospheres I've ever witnessed. The wooded, farmhouse-ridden rural areas of parts of Somerset/Morris counties accented by the turning leaves makes it seem both beautiful and darkly depressing. This song only adds to it. Love you Mark.
