I love how the shoutbox is divided between whether this made a shitty song good or vice versa. My vote is vice versa sorry 💕

I heard this after Linda McCartney died and it made me incredibly sad for both him and her. Still does, in a way.

Sounds like "Zuma"-era Neil Young clubbing to death an easy-listeing fave. Brilliant!

I sometimes skip the second half and stay repeating the jam/drone intro. It's hypnotic.

Sosen, when you're drunk, stoned or just incredibly overwhelmed with emotion, this song is just absolutely magical. As a working musician, this to me sounds just like a jam between musicians, and it's fucking intense, one in a million if you're following what I'm saying (just like this whole album). The vocal melodies are perfect, the guitar tones are beautiful and the bass and drums compliment them both to great effect. I've listened to the whole Red House Painters discography (close to owning them all on CD), and they've never disappointed me. I can guarantee that I'll be listening to them when I'm an old man, if I ever live that long.

He took a silly love song and made it into something beautiful, heart felt and haunting.

no really guys, it has nothing to to with the original! It's kind of a masterpiece which stands for itself so as no original would exist besides it.
