"Riverson" is the sole album by Canadian Rock group "Riverson" from 1973 feat. Franki Hart: Vocals, Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Recorder / Rayburn Blake: Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Banjo / Brian Edwards: Vocals, Bass / Graham Lear: Drums. Of all the zillions of CSNY-inspired westcoast hippie rock LPs from the early 1970s, this is one of the very best.You can hear early AOR moves creeping into the hippie stylings. Female vocalist Franki Hart of Freedom North handles a few tracks, but is given solid competition by the male vocalists who sing just as well. Soaring, lyrical guitar leads recur throughout the LP, and there are some vague prog moves with flute on one track.
