What's funny about this particular track… I have a copy of this song on the Reader's Digest record compilation "The Sensational 70s -- 1973~1974"… the copy on that album has an out-take right at the start of the song. You hear Ross singing in the distance, before you hear the music stop, and a voice say "try again"… before the song starts properly in earnest. I thought it was just a quirk of the record I had. Today I got a copy of "My Name Is Horse" on CD (shout out to Aztech Records -- thank-you, arrived safely)… playing that now… sure enough, same out-take is there too. It wasn't edited out. Always brings a smile when I hear it, sometimes even the professionals mess up.
