Seems like some people never heard the expression "influenced". (2) Some lines share a similar melody to some lines in 'Mad World' but they are still completely different songs. Far from a copy.

I dont know why everybody compare the song with mad world and blame seether for stealing it. All I heard is the similarity in lines "all I really want is something beautiful to say" and "all around me are familiar faces..", I dont know, just the way they are pronounced... Also maybe the tonality is the same, and that's all Btw, song's AMAZING

the opening drum part reminds me of 'night of the hunter' by 30 seconds to mars - one more 'borrowed thing' you can tell :) but I have to admit the song is pretty good and sounds so catching

Borrowing a melody doesn't mean they've stooped low. Every band borrows something from another, so hats off to them for mixing a song that is definitely one of the best they've done.
