I guess newer Skinless does not get too much love. That's a shame. I prefer anything after their first album. Savagery is somewhat of a step down from Only the Ruthless Remain. It has good tracks. This album could have been a bit better.

The album made a ambiguous impression on me. Hard to say, better than the previous or worse. On the one hand, there are interesting riffs, on the other hand, there are few memorable compositions (for me it's Medieval, Skull Sesion and self titled), as wel as, and in the previous one. Perhaps the album spoils unnecessarily "sandy" production. Because of what the depth and density of the musical material is lost.
