They are/we're fantastic. Creative is just one of the many beautiful words I can describe this band with. Stop being a lil bitch, victimofkratina. This music's hightime was 2006-2011. Music comes and goes. It's not like people grew up. It's like saying country is for people within 40-60 years old. Everybody can listen to genres, no age limit haha wtf. Explore life, man. Don't limit yourself

v there's still a fair share of good bands playing music kinda like this. Only a handful from the heyday are still going (I Set My Friends On Fire, Greeley Estates, Vanna) but it's still happening on a more underground scale now. Grew up? Some of this stuff was pretty distinct and still is imo.

Miss them. Their transitions are amazing. Good all-around. No boring songs. That's unusual.

So what are these guys up to these days? Playing in different bands while on haitus, right? The Sound of Symmetry was such a great teaser of what was yet to come, makes me sad to not see any new releases since.

iPowers: Oh, wow. I couldn't disagree more. All the SEA stuff is beyond amazing I think. The guitarwork on their self-titled album is amazing. Glass Cloud is good, With Crown And Tail is good, but SEA is something else in my book. Glad it's an hiatus and not entirely broken up.

If you are a fan of Jerry Roush go check out Glass Cloud, and if you are a fan of Bryan Zimmerman, go check out With Crown and Tail. Both bands are fantastic, and they changed that unreleased Sky Eats Airplane song and made it a Crown and Tail song. :D

"The band has yet to announce a new singer. Hopefully this “lead singer curse” doesn’t plague the band for much longer." Is there any new word to this? The EP was pretty good. And I checked out Glass Cloud, completely different but really good.

Went and listened to it (Glass Cloud), and it was good, but definitely not as good as SEA for me. Way different sounds though anyway.

Glass Cloud > Sky Eats Airplane. After hearing Jerry Roush's new project, this band looks like a joke.

Amazing music and the vocals are good too. A lot of Nintendocore has bad vocals so this is a relief.
