I associate this group with the game Lost Vikings (Sega Mega Drive). I played this game with their album "Eyes Open" playing in the background. Good memories.

A quick shoutout to "Called Out in the Dark". By 2011 I was as tired of Snow Patrol as anyone following British pop culture, thanks to oversaturation of "Chasing Cars" (which I recently got back into again) and weak-ass "Signal Fire", which I still think was a lazy cash-in, so I was pretty shocked that they managed something so sonically adventurous as that song.

I totally forgot about this band, reintroducing myself to them now and I can't believe they haven't been in my regular cycle all these years. I absolutely loved Run some years ago

На руме их что-то совсем уж жестко прессуют и критикуют, а по мне взять хоть пост-гранжевый Songs For Polarbears, хоть попсовый Wildness, хоть любой альбом между ними - всегда сохраняли некую приятную ламповость, душевность что ли, хотя и не люблю это слово, и ни разу не скурвились. Чего еще то от подобной индюшатины нужно?

Wonderful album, full of different, intriguing melodies. I don't know Snow Patrol's discography very well, but I'm guessing this can be their most mature album I listened by far.
