SMB recorded some very progressive blues/rock albums from 1967 - 1972 before stalling with a dreadful album called Rck Love in 1972. The Joker redeemed the band but Steve Miller scored big time radio play with this and other follow up singles on albums that were, for the most part, enjoyable even though a departure from their roots. Still enjoyable music after all these years.
