I think he sings about a girl, which was in the croud, when he has played a show in Alesund. So i believed, there would be a song where Kozelek sings : "I couldn't place a thought, without you being so near." but this isn't the case. So I still do not know what exactly this song is about. But it's so atmospheric and wonderful.

this is indeed a very sad tune. but the guitar-playing is very good. and i like the sound of it, too. koz´s voice could be used as a radiator in a cold flat. 4 rooms the least.

The first line of this song is genius. It immediately draws us into "conversation" with Kozelek, as if we prompted the reply--and so, the music--before the album even begins. Gotta love this one.
