Current 2017 is fertile time for dark ambient projects. And Mørkets Variabler is one of the most successful albums released in this year.

One word, EXCELLENT!

High skills, profound soundscapes. Best dark ambient project from Norway. Otherwise, there is the best (not so dark) nordic ambient project - Origami Arktika.

Good stuff, but way too smooth and minimalistic. For deep and intense immersion I'd advise something like [artist]R|A|A|N[/artist] or [artist]Phelios[/artist].

This is the kind of dark ambient that suits me. Really interesting and deep soundscapes. Actually, I'm not sure if I've ever heard a better dark ambient. Record more albums please!

I recently got "Elegies" from Cyclic Law as well. Our friendly neighborhood mailman pretty much crushed it, but I am definitely enjoying the content - the music.
