When I first saw Chuck Berry on tv in 1957 and he duckwalked to Maybelline with his Gibson behind his neck, I thought "wow, nobody has ever done this before!". In 1997, I saw an old black and white, grainy video of T-Bone Walker duckwalking while playing the T-Bone Shuffle with his Gibson behind his neck. It was dated 1947!!! Chuck Berry had a great influence to pass along to future generations.
