just to revisit my opinion about this, I don't have much respect for Rob Miller, but not because he thanked a holocaust revisionist, it's because of how he treated his brother.

Who hasn't seen it coming? Last Amebix album was already kooky. Most of Rob's output still on the better side of kooky, but it's always a thin line. Jaz Coleman is kinda the same story. See part of the truth, go deeper, let your guard down, get lost and deceived by the most blatant lies out there. Mainstream narrative being oppressive in some sense does not make any alternative narrative right. Niels Bohr said "The opposite of a trivial truth is plainly false. The opposite of a great truth is also true." but the opposite of that great truth is also true: "The opposite of a trivial falsehood is plainly true. The opposite of a great lie is also a lie."

I hope people still have the ability to read and analyze what they've read. Rob has read his book and found some of his ideas fascinating? If that is a crime I'd say were closer to book burning nazis than he is. Obviously Hitler was not the savior that is written in the book and millions of people died under the nazi regime. Saying that the holocaust is an absolute truth that can't be questioned in any way is just good way to sow seeds doubt against it.

Whether I believe in this monster called "the Holocaust", I am happy that Rob thanked Menuhin. Now punks and their arrogant attitude will forever vanish from Tau Cross gigs! Kinda excited which kind of people show up to their shows. Will it just be people who are able to enjoy music without giving into preconceptions based on social and traditional media? Sounds like an ideal show to me.

fucking THIS. You're right, Jaz is the same. They're right to question the narrative of the capitalist media, but they get so caught up and lost in conspiracy theory wacky shit (that always tends to be extreme right wing nonsense -QAnon, etc) that they end up just spewing even more bollocks. Which is crazy really, Amebix always had fairly solid anarchist principles, you'd think Rob would be more cottoned on to the bullshit than most.

I've listened to Rob Millers lyrics. There is nothing Nazi therein, but again, I'm open to correction but I'd ask you to be specific about which songs exactly are nazi and why. Details are important when giving justification for destroying a persons reputation and livelihood. I mean, even Punk News reviewed the last Tau Cross album and were left scratching their heads as they couldn't find a smoking gun in the lyrics. He didn't make an anti semitic dedication, be put a Jewish writer on a thanks list, and there were other writers in there too. He apologised to his band mates for not being clearer, but beyond that, he doesn't owe anybody a apology for reading a book. I just looked at the tracklisting to the last Killing Joke album. I'm not seeing it. Are you sure you're just not seeing a nazi conspiracy everywhere?

I'm just trying to get a picture of what the main issue is here. Jaz Coleman and Rob Miller are guilty of wrong think because of the symbolism in their lyrics? What is it that either of them have done that is so alt-right? What do you mean by alt right? What is your concern? Is it because they are potentially brain washing people through their music and lyrics to the alt right cause?

Wow. This is really good stuff. The first song I put on was "The Devil Knows His Own" and I was instantly taken in by those husky vocals. I sense a bit of angrier 16 Horsepower and Ghoultown stuff, that hillbilly vibe.
