in summer 2007 i visited a small popfestival in sweden called rip it up. dan treacy was there, always plasterd hanging around with a very young emo boy from norway. we spoke to him for a while but he was to drunk to understand anything; he just pointed at us and said "silly girl, silly girl, silly girl". he played the worst gig ever and the admins were a bit disapointed. but dan treacy later wrote a letter to them and said he had "the time of his life and really hoped he could come back next year...".
