... saw at The Electric Factory (capacity 325) , Philly , '68 . $3.25 admit . Pink Floyd as lead-off , followed by Nazz , then The Amboy Dukes ... Someone on the PA : "Lets hear a warm Philly welcome for The Amboy Dukes ! " . Response : stone silence . ... Thirty seconds later , and everybody was up and dancing ! Me ; front bench , about 20 feet from amp - was deaf for a day and a half . A blast ! walt
