To me the intro/outro suggests that the whole fast-paced middle section is just a dream about being alone with a girl in a car. It's as though Brian takes you as listener inside his own romantic/erotic dream with that intro and then slowly takes you back with the outro. So brilliant. Sort of 'I'm Waiting for the Day' in its infantile stages...
