Update: Dave Hyde has panned out his secure position as The Futureheads' drummer. False alarm. It would appear that he has taken a bit of a break from his Hyde and Beast side-project, and has agreed to return to the good ol' lads.

So in Futureheads related news, Dave Hyde has officially resigned as a band member, due to sibling arguments with Barry, and his prior engagements with Hyde and Beast. Furthermore, The Futureheads' newest album, entitled "Rant", will feature ONLY acapella tracks, featuring some classics, and a few covers. It's not technically a perfectly-canon album, but more of a side LP as an appetizer for their yet-to-be-released full-feature album. "Rant" will be available on iTunes in Fall of 2011.
