It took me a long time to learn why she was singing about "sitting in a chair," lol :) Didn't like this one as much initially, but the euphoric mood shift from the previous tracks has won me over (and then we rapidly change gears again and plunge into the desolate Red is a Slow Colour, huh) ~

The general consensus is that this song is in reference to the second NASA Mercury-Redstone mission in 1961, nicknamed "Liberty Bell 7." The chair in the song reference's the astronaut's chair. The craft was noteworthy for its window design above the astronaut's head too. "Grissom coasted in weightlessness up to an altitude of 118 miles (190 km) before his capsule began to descend.
