I like the most recent album, Here Come The Rattling Trees. I find it relaxing.....

Cheap ringtone sounds... that's all I hear when I listen to the newest album. I think about silly ringtones that sound so alone with no substance to the music at all. Just an opinion of my first couple listens.

Not a single bad album. Band of the 90s (and their last 3 haven't put a foot wrong, either).

Oh my goodness, Talahomi Way is so unbelieveably beautiful. The ol llamas have returned to the grand symphonic chamber pop bliss that made earlier albums such as Hawaii such majestic gems and it makes this long time fan a very very happy person.

...especially Hawaii and Gideon Gaye. Fairly certain several Italian composers have had some influence. ;)

Is it just me or they sounded more like the master composer, Ennio Morricone? I can find quite a few hints of Morricone in most of their songs. But, I don't know.
