Can't see the shoegazing thing meself. A classic it is though. They were one of the bands of 88, no question. Shame that just two years later they already sounded so past it. Dunno if they really 'sold out' or just lost it, but the next album bored the tits off me.

Lovin the comments. The Shoegazing, J& MC and VU shouts are spot on. I feel I have to add this was number 9 in Peels 88 festive 50. Nuff said mees thinks. Its a proper belter.
