first heard about this band when my dad told me that a friend of his at work gave him a casette with the macc lads on it. he told me it was the worst shit he'd ever heard.

My brother got their LP when he was 13 or 14 (I am 3 years younger). I listened to it and felt horribly rebellious and wrong. In a good way. They're the lads from Macc. They want some crack. ...To be fair, the singer only claims to be G-d's gift to women "in this fuckin town," perhaps realizing that he only gets laid occasionally because he hasn't yet left Macclesfield?
