Sadly, I’ve been lured by the glass then gaslighted to the effect that there never was anything there, that the perceived connection was fake, that I was a fool to even care. Someone wrote this comment about this song, on songmeanings.com. I tend to agree: “For me this song adresses a particular feeling when you decide not to fall for illusions ever again because you were hurt. You let your guard down, you trusted someone or something and they betrayed you. You're probably going to fall for more illusions in the future. Even in the instrumentation, it tries to capture that sense of rage and anxiety and desperation, audibly hurt and all over the place, chaotic and tumultuous.” What do you think?

This song live is so great. The album version is only three minutes, but live they stretch it out a bit and the beat is really hypnotic and LOUD. Great tune.
