the piano IS good composition [2] It's actually too complicated and sophisticated to be mainstream. Everything that goes beyond 4 chords is not mainstream.

How is this sellout-ish? If something is sellout material, it is usually meant for the mainstream media. Do you really think that any person who likes mainstream music would like this? Obviously no. Beautiful song by the way.

and how in the hell have they dipped into the mainstream? it's softer and calmer than their MEHTUHHHL stuff, sure, but it's still unique and damn good. i'll be damned if learning emotional songwriting = selling out. please, get off the internet go back to your mom's basement and headbang to obscure black metal demos. [4] I fucking love this track. He's a talented singer with a beautiful voice, the piano IS good composition and the lyrics have been put more IQ behind than most of your comments combined.

"i'll be damned if learning emotional songwriting = selling out" Yes, because the ONLY emotional songs are the softer ones, riiiiiiiiight. There's 0 emotion in Comfort Zones, Eoarchaean, Orosirian, Dead Serious and Highly Professional, etc...oh, wait. That being said, this song isn't quite the worst on Helio (see: Catharsis). I'm not saying Ptolemy is BAD or that The Ocean sold out, but that the emotional comment was just a stupid fucking thing to say. Also, the song name is on par with Gojira's; I mean, it's a fucking statement.

What fucking ridiculous tags. Sure, it's not metal or even hardcore but it's clearly fucking brilliant musicianship. I can't believe there are people who can listen to the last verse and not feel like smiling.

In the Drum-Parts, it's almost "doom-pop" xD. seriously, it's a try of a band to weave something, also called art. Yeah, it's not metal, hardcore, etc. but it IS Music. Fact. even Advertisement-Jingles are music.
