I love the pictures posted here. The 'main man' is Dave Ferguson, king of the punks in the Wimbledon/Raynes Park area of South London and street cleaner at one point. The Proles started out as a punk band playing a couple of gigs. I went to see them play in a church hall and my b/friend Piggy, at the time, sang some of the 'tunes'. Big up to the SW19/20 punks, the Wimbledon Chase Skins and the Motspur Park Mods. Margo x

The proles I know are not a 3-piece punk band from Sacramento, they're a 7-piece folk band from South London ! And all of the tracks here are from the latter!!
