Almost ten years on and it's still a solid album, but it could have benefitted from having a few tracks cut. If it was a leaner 10 or 11 tracks, I think it'd be a stronger effort overall.

“A Bigger Band” demorou oito anos pra sair mas valeu a pena, e não trouxe apenas a banda para as areias de Copacabana, como trouxe as melhores faces da banda reunidas em um único álbum. Concordo plenamente com aqueles que falaram que é um trabalho que os Stones tentaram soar como Stones novamente. Reafirmando suas raízes com o Blues “Back Of My Hand” parece que estou ouvindo uma faixa da mesma época do “Let It Bleed”. O trabalho também tem muito rock n roll no melhor estilo da banda como “Rough Justice”, “Oh, No Not You Again” e “Driving Too Fast”. A linda balada “Streets Of Love”, e as suingadas “Rain Fall Down” e “Look What The Cat Dragged In” mostram que Mick Jagger, apesar das rugas, ainda tem sua voz de garoto intacta com suas interpretações rebeldes. “A Bigger Band” não conta com Ron Wood em seis faixas, deixando essas somente com os originais Watts, Richards e Jagger, o que não é nada mal para um verdadeiro apaixonado pela banda.

weird, i wonder why 'oh no not you again' has so few listens compared to the rest - it's certainly not the worst track. i really like infamy, great bubbling rhythm.
