@fokkinell, 'tired eyes slowly burning' was my first.. and all time fave.. tear garden record. imho, start there. "you and me and rainbows" is worth the price of admission alone.

I've tried to avoid Tear Garden for a long time, because it sounds so depressing, but I can't anymore - they're just too fantastic. Any suggestions for an album to start with?

I really don't see the point in torturing myself to decide which album I dig the most. "You and Me and Rainbows" is a brilliant track. I remember driving around aimlessly until it finished so as not to interrupt it one time. I have really gotten into R.Moore's TCDSS project. There is an amazing amount of talent in those two core bands.

Really got into "To Be an Angel Blind, the Crippled Soul Divide " It's such an amazing piece of art.

wow fuck myself, good one. they can be compared because they not only "different elements" but comparable similarities; i have something called a "preference", and mine just so happens to be for the tear garden.

better? why skinny puppy could be better than lpd? or lpd better than skinny puppy? fuck yourself, both are great bands. The tear garden is another great band, those three bands got different elements, that's why they couldn't be compared.
